Athletics Supplement

What exactly is the Athletics Supplement and how is it used? Do colleges consider it for admisions. Do college coaches look at it? How are you supposed to bring yourself to their attention?

The Athletics Supplement is used by coaches of the college to see who may be applying. Admissions will send the form to Athletics. Only if the coach in that sport is keenly interested in recruiting that applicant will it make any difference in admission.

The recruiting process is long and fickle, so any interest shown by a coach in early July can blossom or fade by October. Other recruits, other needs for positions or events, many factors will influence conditions.

If your athletic talent compares to the current athletes on the college’s team, do fill out the supplement, as well as the Questionnaire for Potential Recruits at the athletics website.

You can email the coach with all your athletic and academic stats directly as well.
