Stone Mountain

Downtown will be interesting this weekend. Its Gay Pride weekend and PETA is protesting their event at the Aquarium because the loud music is supposed to disturb the belugas and dolphins (it was just on the news… really) http://www.peta.org/mediacenter/news-releases/PETA-to-Protest-Aquarium-Pride-Party-After-Employees-Report-Music-Causes-Animals-to-Fight.aspx

Lovely, lovely luncheon with lovely, lovely ladies.

How about Atlanta Underground? I was there many years ago. is it still around? It was enjoyable then!

Underground Atlanta has had some problems. I would not consider it worth a visit. The relocation of the World of Coke to near the Aquarium didn’t help.

In no way did I find the DeKalb Farmers’ Market “affordable.” Yes, they have a wonderful selection but I didn’t see much daylight between their prices and those found at Whole Paycheck, er…I mean Whole Foods Market.
