<p>How are the atmospheres at UCLA and UCSD…They seem to be very competitive, but I was wondering which one is more laid back.</p>
<p>Both are quite competitive academically. UCSD is the quieter of the two. You really should visit to see for yourself though.</p>
<p>I agree with collegemom. UCSD is said to be “boring” by a lot of people who visit, while UCLA gives the more lively prescence of the two. In my opinion, the more laid back school would be UCSD, since yes, it is competitive, but not as grade-hungry as UCLA.</p>
<p>ucsd is a more laid back as stated above. ucla isn’t that much fun, i live really close to it. the campus isn’t very pretty. people there always seem like they are in a rush.</p>
