MIT
Michigan
NYU (Stern)
Carnegie-Mellon (Tepper)
Harvard
UChicago
Boston College
Rutgers University

Youll get into all of them!

Oh, you rebel you! Take me away. J/K

U penn-impossible to tell, they let in a lot of lower scoring SAT’s
MIT-Reach, pretty big reach I guess
Michigan-stong match
NYU-match/safety
Carnegie Mellon-Match/reach
Harvard-Reach
U Chicago-Reach/match
Boston College-Match
Rutgers-Safety/reach

I would pick another safety, but I do think you’ll get into at least 3 or 4 of these. Good Luck!

Hi Virgil,

I have spent a lot of time researching colleges and assessing profiles and because of that, I have gained a lot of knowledge about college admissions. And I can honestly say - entirely being truthful - that you are the type of kid that everyone else is “afraid” of. That kind of high-caliber resume is what millions of high school students fear. You do not have to worry a bit. Other than Harvard, MIT, and UPenn (on your list) - as well as colleges like Princeton and CalTech - you will definitely get into any school you want to.

It’s Caltech, not CalTech.

I am terrified of you. :)

Yes, very strong, I would say you have a strong chance at any college you apply to, except Princeton, which discriminates against Asians, and Harvard, which you can never be sure about.

Judging by your choices of colleges (Tepper, NYU Stern, Wharton…) I suppose you want a career in business/consulting/investment banking.

I think getting a business degree as an undergrad is the healthiest thing, unless business is REALLY your life’s calling. If that is really what you want (how much do you know about that kind of career) I would really recommend UChicago, which has the strongest undergrad curriculum in the nation. A good Econ (+ something) degree from UChicago will get you in any investment bank or consultancy, or even private equity firm, and will be an outstanding foundation for a top MBA.

While nothing is set in stone, I’d say NYU would be a safety for you. UChicago will be a match/slight reach, and Michigan, Rutgers, and BC are obvious safeties.

Awesome resume! I’m a debater as well, but I’m not really into the Model UN thing. I do Student Congress though, and I’m going to nationals in it this summer (NFL Wichita). I think that you’ll have a great chance at all the schools you listed, but that HYPS are reaches for everyone and pretty random. (The fact that you love Mexican food should be the focal point of your application. - kidding)

u give me nightmares
