I attend North Florida Community College, and I’m in my second semester. I’m currently engaged and my fiance and I have been trying to understand how to go about getting married while keeping me in the right direction with school. He is active duty in the Army and lives in North Carolina. This might be a dumb question… but can I continue nfcc online while living in north Carolina to finish my aa? Thank you so much for any advice, I’d really appreciate it.
A few questions to consider:
- Does NFCC make it easy to complete an AA online? Some schools have degrees that can be completed entirely online while others do not.
- Have you taken online classes? Some find it harder than being in a face-to-face class. Dropout rates on online classes are very high.
- Can you transfer to a community college near where you plan to live? Usually it is not difficult to transfer credits to the new school.
If it is easy to complete your degree online through NFCC and you are confident you can do well in an online environment, then yes, you can finish your AA while living in NC. Otherwise, look into transferring. Either way, stick with it!!! It gets harder and harder to complete a degree once marriage and eventually kids are in the picture.
