I have read over and over on this board how many of you send Nutella to your kids in care packages like it’s a “must have” staple…I confess to NEVER having this apparently delicious treat!

So today while at the store, I picked up a jar! (Scary, a message board is now dictating my grocery purchases!) Now, what to do with it???

Please share your favorite ways to partake in a spoonful of Nutella!!!

I first tried Nutella as an exchange student in France. The best way to enjoy it, in my opinion, is to get a still warm baguette, break it open, slather on the Nutella and eat.

Second best, in crepes. There is just something about Nutella when it is slightly warm and gooey.

There is a French creperie my D and I like. They have the greatest dessert crepes…fresh strawberries with nutella, and some whipped cream. Delicious!
Try also with sliced bananas or pears.

We first had Nutella in Italy. DD loves it on rice cakes. Somewhat defeats the purpose of the rice cakes, but … Another great taste is a peanut butter & nutella sandwich. Again, not for calorie counters, but oh so yummy. Agree w/ momof3.

D.D never ate peanut butter, so it was nutella sandwiches every single day from preschool until middle school. I think her blood group is “chocolate”.
