Auburn considers SAT II?

Hello CC Community!! I recently saw that AU encourages students to take 3 SAT II which is subjective test (one from math, one from writing, and one from other language). I thought AU does not require nor consider SAT2 score. So, do i need to take SAT2 also to raise my chances for both admission and acceptance?

If I should, I will take Korean with Listening(I am Korean…), Physics(I take AP Physic B), Chemistry(I take AP Chem), and Math II.

Thank you!

My ACT score: 31. 11 writing
SAT score: 530/800 (1330/1600), 600 writing
GPA: 4.00/4.00 unweighted. 9 AP classes including senior classes. (I think weighted will be 4.4 or above…)

Hey, you don’t really need to worry about getting in. Auburn has a “cutoff” ACT score, where if you are higher than the score, you automatically get accepted. I’m not sure exactly what it is, but in the high 20s, so you’re safe. Also, they take your weighted GPA if its higher (which it always is). I got in early admission and Honors College with a 31 and a 3.7ish weighted. You will get in for sure.

Also, if you plan on going into engineering, try to take Physics C if its offered. Physics B does not give you any credit for anything that matters.

EDIT: oh yeah, don’t worry about SAT IIs. I don’t think they give you credit and you will have no trouble getting accepted.

I don’t know what the scoop is with SAT II’s, but here’s a link to all the information regarding AP/ACT/SAT I/IB/CLEP credit:

Note the automatic credits for score benchmarks on both ACT and SAT I.
