I just left Pace University (horrible school) and decided to take a leap and go for my true passion which is audio engineering. I’ve been looking into some schools that have these kind of majors but i’m having a little trouble finding them. I found The New School and Touro College DMX (but i’ve heard it’s terrible - http://www..com/NY/Touro_College.html ). Does anyone have any suggestions?

And yeah i did a search, thanks in advance!

There’s a lot of info in that post. By looking for “audio engineering” are you looking for a science based acoustic/design program, a music specific tech/recording program, or a music business/recording arts type degree. These go by various names at various schools.

Did you check out the Institute of Audio Research?? It’s a great school and you can get your degree in less than 1 year. As a graduate, they offer continuing services such as career services (they’ll help find you a job) and free technology retraining (so you can always keep your skills up to date). I think they offer scholarships and financial aid, too. [Institute of Audio Research NYC](http://www.audioschool.com)
