<p>Do most colleges give you an option as to the order of your audition?</p>
<p>Not for the most part. Usually you’re grouped together in some order. Everyone may dance together and then split into singing or acting. Or it could be together. Every school is different in their approach.</p>
<p>BoCo lets you choose between acting or singing first.</p>
<p>NYU let me choose. At Michigan, they broke you up into groups, so some kids did acting first, while others did singing, but everyone did dancing at the same time. The acting and singing at Michigan were in seperate rooms.</p>
<p>Yeah, as others are saying, it totally depends on the school. Even the ones that do acting and singing in the same room tend to have a preference of what you do first. I know Hartt did not care the order in which you perform your pieces. Most of the other schools I auditioned at either sent you to the two rooms in random order or told you which to start with.</p>
