Audits

I am looking to transfer to Penn, I have a 4.0 GPA at my highly regarded community college. Unfortunately, this past semester I took a French class with Madame pejorative deleted. By the time I realized that she was out of her mind (5 minutes into the first test) it was too late to drop the class without it being on my record in some form. Perhaps, If i whipped myself into shape, and formed a study group, I may have been able to ace the class. The only problem was that I was extraordinarily busy.
Luckily, I was able to audit the class, meaning that I wanted to continue to attend the class without recieving a grade or credits for it. Unfortunately, the AU shows up on transcripts. How bad will this look to UPenn? Do you think that they will look at it as a lame attempt to try to pin my GPA up, or that I was genuinely interested in learning more about the French language and culture for my personal benefit…

Does anyone have an opinion or a recommended explanation, or course of action? Thanks

Anyone? At all

i think the AU will look better than a WD or a bad grade.

btw, what cc are u at?
