I feel like this would get so much more action here than in High School Life :P

Nadal and Isner are out, Tsonga is injured and will probably tank immediately, Nishikori just said he’s quickly recovering from his knee injury… ugh. Anyway, still excited to see the first major of the year as well as Serena (hopefully) beasting again.

So we have Djokovic, Murray, Federer and Ferrer a little further back. I’d guess that Berdych will do fairly well too. He’s about even with Tsonga though they both have temperament problems. Too bad Tsonga is having problems.

Bleugh, looks like another Murray-Djoko final.

They are showing the qualies on AO TV. Don’t recall having that available in the US before. Wonder if they’ll keep it available during the tourney. I’d love to not have to listen to some of our comms brad gilbert/patty mac pratter.

“Andy Roddick needs to become a commentator immediately.”

Oh please dear God, no. Just when I’m finally rid of him.

Watched a bit of Kooyong this morning. LL had a nice win over Berdych, though I don’t put much stock in exhibition outcomes. Doubt he can beat Tipsy - but the night crowd at Laver could get him over the hump.

Hewitt’s game lines up well against Berdych basically countering Berdych’s pace. Fed, Djokovic and Murray are a much different story - they are far more creative and thinking players.

BC, I don’t think anyone, even LL, thinks he has a chance in **** of beating any of those boys. Winning a round or two isn’t out of the realm of possibility, though.

It’s also hard to judge how anyone will do based on a win against Berdych. He goes walkabout a lot.
