<p>Has anyone read any of Linda Castillo’s or Chelsea Cain’s books? If you have what is your opinion of their books?</p>
<p>I have read all the books of both these authors. Clearly, I enjoy them! That said, the Chelsea Cain books are not for the faint of heart. The relationship between Archie and Gretchen is most unusual.</p>
<p>Linda Castillo’s first book kept me more on edge. The first two Chelsea Cain books I found that the decisions made by the reporter and the cop so stupid that I could not get past that to be actual scared.</p>

<p>I think that Chelsea Cain is a good writer, but I think her plots/characterizations are way too unbelievable, even for fiction. I could barely get through the first in the series.</p>
<p>scout- I agree. I kept saying how dumb are you people and how can every bad thing in Portland involve such a small group of people.</p>
