In the past week, I’ve frequently run in to an issue where the save draft function is especially slow. Saving draft might take 5 seconds or longer to complete. Sometimes the draft save never completes. During this 5+ second period, my browser is frozen. I can not continue typing the post, making this issue is very annoying. I’ve seen it on multiple computers on different networks, so I do not think the problem is on my end. I expect having an option to disable autosave in the control panel in the preferences would resolve this issue for me.
