D’s ACT score was definitely the score Harvard used when considering her, which was a 35. Along the way, I asked CC forums the value of her score (her first ACT was a 33). The response given to me was the value of an ACT score depended a lot on the geographical location of the applicant and that a 35 in Massachusetts had a lot less value than a 35 from some other state (I am not going to try an pick out a state). I do not know the veracity of this statement, but it is interesting.
