<p>Is it true that average girls become superhot and unusually attractive by enrolling Harvey Mudd?</p>
<p>Some think they do because the ratio boys to girls is so high that, the few girls have the eyes of all the boys. Some think it is because smart students find people with the same interests. And some other think they are not that hot.</p>
<p>Any school where one gender greatly outnumbers the other is going to favor the underrepresented gender. I have heard this is true at engineering schools (Missouri-Rolla high% of guys) and former teacher colleges (Emporia State high % of girls). </p>
<p>It’s not a matter of absolute hotness but rather relative scarcity and lack of individuals to compare to. It also happens in grad school. My friends and I constantly make the distinction between a Med School “eight” and a real world “eight”. Real world values are higher than med schools values…</p>
<p>Average girls become hot when you’re drunk or really desperate - not by going to a certain school. In this case, it seems to be the desperate part.</p>
