Keep in mind these are for enrolled; stats for admits are usually higher as NU loses many of the top scorers to HYPS.

wow, this school looks like its deteriorating

I’m actually impressed by the SAT scores for the Music School. Perhaps it included the scores of those who are dual-majoring Weinberg-Music.

simbajune, what do you mean by deteriorating? The vast, vast majority of college applicants would be thrilled to have the scores that Northwestern gets.

simbajune wasn’t happy with Cornell, then transferred to NU, and is now unhappy with NU. Let him/her vent. :)

go back to cornell. poo.

a 1400 average SAT score is like the 96th percentile for the nation, how does that mean the school’s deteriorating…

“go back to cornell. poo”

NO! we don’t want him back!!!

theoretically speaking…

If someone wanted to, could they apply to the medil school, and then transfer to the A&S school pending admission just so that they have a better chance of being accepted, or would that not be possible?

I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have really compelling reasons.

you could try doing that but your application might come off as more passionate if you are applying to the school that you think you want to be in. Also, Medill and A&S are about the same competitiveness for admissions, you’d be better off trying that strategy at SESP or the school of comm
