So please be a dear and tell me what you think will become of me! What are my reaches/good matches/safeties?

Thank you! :)

OH and my courses are top notch

AP scores? what about SAT 2s? I think you’re definitely in for UNC-CH

ahh i hate to be a downer but im pretty sure you will be rejected from all of your reaches, the s.a.t. is just too low. U.S.D. seems like a nice match for you. sry good luck!

Do you live in Carolina? That’s a bigger admissions factor for UNC-CH than anything else.

no, I live in California :(

You should have applied to UCB and UCLA.

I actually considered UCLA during the summer. I stayed at UCLA for 10 days and ruled it out–it just didn’t feel right.
As for UCB, i hadn’t even thought about it. It’s probably a huge reach for me anyway.

I think you’ll probably get in at USD. The SAT scores are a bit iffy but your GPA backs it up so its alright. I’m doubtful about all your reaches though, UNC-CH especially because thats INSANELY hard for OOS people. GWU also doesn’t seem likely. You should be in at Denison and Loyola and you have a good shot at Rhodes. Good luck :)

Your GPA and SATs are both pretty low…

What are you talking about? Her GPA is really high for college courses.

She only took 2 APs, and if anything, it should raise her GPA.

Yeah your reached are unrealistic probably, espeically UNC and Gtown. Good luck with UCSD!

UNC accepts 18 percent of its nearly 20,000 OOS applicants. You have a 0 percent chance of getting in unless your father donates a million a year.

You seem like a very smart lady, I’m sure you’ll be fine where ever you end up. You’re choices are very realistic and I’m sure you will get into most of your matches.

besides g-town, i would say youve got a decent shot everywhere. goodluck to ya

No chance at Gtown or UNC-CH. UNC-CH’s out of state admissions is equivalent to ivy league schools.

-University of Southern California: low chance
-Carnegie Mellon University: low chance
-Georgetown University: low chance

your ECs are decent but those SAT scores are puzzling
