Yes, sounds all too ordinary…any schools i might have a chance in getting into?

well its really hard to tell ya cuz of the lack of statistical information… i mean theres a significant difference between a 27 and a 33 on the ACT… the 27 being 85 or so percentile… obviously you took that in 7th grade so your scores will rise… but i dunno mayb places like Vanderbilt Umich Tufts, Wake Forest, BC, BU, Georgetown, Emory… im not sure if we know enough about to give you any real sound advice… tell us more about you and what you want in a school

3.8 is not average

Man, if 3.8 is average, I quit!! I probably belonged in special ed with a 3.7!
I think if anything it would be your EC that look “average.” By this I really mean that they are things that I have seen before, mostly cuz they are clubs that almost every school has. Overall it creates a generic picture. However things like your 9 years of piano and 2 year headstart in math are definitely outstanding. Milk these accomplishment and use them to help you stand out. Also, perfect math scores on the SAT would help your case.

please dont call yourself average.
