So I’m currently a sophomore in undergrad, but I’ve been finding that my grades have been flatlining average (around a C+) even though I was an A-student during high school. It’s been really frustrating me because I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong (not studying enough/correctly or what?) and I’m also hoping to eventually apply to vet school… even though my prospects don’t look very good from where I’m standing right now. I’m majoring in Biology but I haven’t declared yet. Any advice for what to do? Do you think grad school is out of reach and I should try thinking about a back-up plan?

Also, do you think it’s better to major in something you like and get good grades in it, or major in a field that has good job prospects but don’t do as well in the classes? An example would be if I were to major in English and get a 3.5+ average (was actually thinking about it) or, say, do engineering and get < 3.0 gpa.
