Average student looking at UIUC

Some schools I'm looking at:

SAT 2010 Composite, retaking senior year.
ACT 31 Composite, expecting 32 minimum probably 33 for last ACT I took

4.3/5 ish UW GPA, 4.8 W GPA
(FML, I know)

AP Scores for Comp Sci (5 for sure) and AP US (expecting a 3) pending
Taking SAT II for Math II, Physics, AP US

Decent ECs:
- summer internship at UIC (writing timesheet application over 2 months, they still use it)
- Math team (4 years) state 3 times (5th last year, 8th for juniors this year, next year too)
- JETS (2 years) engineering competition (11th Nationally and 5th in state for TEAMS, 5th in state for WYSE)
- 1 year of water polo
- Tutoring math to high schoolers
- going to be comp sci captain for JETS next year
- some minor things that probably won't help/I forgot

will volunteer at library over the summer

will maybe work at a software company over the summer

What are some things I should work on to increase my chances of getting into these schools? Also, is UIC a good safety for these stats?

Thank you very much!

your In. seriously you have a 4.3 GPA, 2000+ SAT and your instate you by no means average

Realized can't edit my original post, but I want to mention that I am looking to get in the Engineering school at UIUC, which is supposedly a lot harder than undecided.

Hi, I’m 15 years old and am currently a junior. I have a 3.5 gpa and took the ACT for practice/just to see how it’d go with no prep in December and got a 25 (( I am retaking it again and hope to get a 28-30 hopefully! I am Junior Class President, heavily involved in Student Council, Part of NHS-going to be an officer next year, actively involved in Key Club and voleenteer countless hours. I am also an active voleenteer in my church. I was selected for leadership in my schools conference. I have taken challenging classes my whole high school career and took 2 AP Classes this year and am taken 3 next year. I also job shadow my dentist. I want to be a dentist or an oral surgeon and am applying for UIC this June early admission. Do you think I can get in with my current stats? I am praying so because it is the only school that tuition is reasonable and yet offers a strong medical field. I have also been on varsity tennis for 3 years and varsity track for 3 years. I hope to appear well rounded. Thank you for reading this and taking the time to answer, I appreciate it very much as I come from a middle-class family and do not have many options for college due to my low gpa and only a couple schools offer pre-dental in Illinois and their tuition is well out of my range. Thanks once again!*
