<p>youre obviously not just an average student if you have a 4.0 and a rank like that…
your sat scores arent awful (its better to be a good student with avg sats than a slacker with good sats). look into the ACT, and schools that are SAT optional (Bates, Union, etc)
Id say that your assesment of those schools is correct. Carleton makes a big deal about looking at the school youve come from and what youve done there (like if your school doesnt offer APs, but you take the hardest courses possible) so that would definitely be a good reach school for you!</p>

<p>Yea, I’ve just recently fallen in love with Carleton. I’m just afraid of falling in love with a school I stand no chance at getting in to! :P</p>
