<p>There is an award in Canada called which recognizes the Top 20 youth in Canada involved in extra-curricular activities.</p>

<p>As a recipient of this award, how great would this increase my chances to getting into a top tier Ivy League. My GPA is only 3.7 and I was wondering if the award would aid in offseting this low score.</p>

<p>I would say that having this award is great, but you still need good grades. 3.7 unweighted isn’t too bad though.</p>

<p>The award would not offset a GPA but the EC you excelled at to get the award could be a hook.</p>
