<p>I came to the US 5 years ago</p>

<p>I know 4 languages</p>

<p>I know that no one can tell me my chances fully but I would like to know if my scores and extracurriculars put me at a good place</p>

<p>If you’re planning on taking the SAT I, it’s important to have that score in hand before evaluating your chances.</p>

<p>I have only taken the ACt( 31). is that a bad idea. with two SAT II 790 and 740</p>

<p>The SAT II’s just imply to me that you’re planning on taking the SAT I. If you’re going to do that, we should wait on that result before doing a chances thread.</p>

<p>The 31 places you right around the middle of Duke’s eventual class, so there’s nothing that would obviously keep you out.</p>

<p>wait, bluedevilmike, did you say that a 31 is the middle of the duke class? that’s a bit lower than i expected…</p>

<p>The 25th to 75th percentiles for ArtSci’s class is 30-34, so the “middle” of that range is 32. 31 is “around the middle.”</p>

<p>Engineering scores are higher.</p>
