B.A vs B.S major choice?

For some of the CSUs I’m applying to, they give me an option of my major (BS) or (BA). I plan on choosing one and having the other be my alternate major. My question is, if I chose a BS, once I get accepted, could I change to a BA objective or is that a solid no? (vice versa.)

Bath path objectives take the same ‘core’ classes while one just has some extra science classes and the other has extra english/language classes.

Also, with your experience, which did you prefer taking? Thanks!
