B of A Class Action Lawsuit

Bank of America has agreed to pay $78 per account holder to those (from 200-2007) who were assessed overdraft and NSF fees and used a debit card for purchases. The suit also covers banks that were acquired by BofA, such as Fleet.

[This SmartMoney article](<a href=“Spending & Saving - MarketWatch”>Spending & Saving - MarketWatch) explains and has a link to submitting a claim online.

Over the years I’ve submitted claims for a number of class action suits. Not all pan out, but it’s worth a try.

Does this cover former accountholders too?

There was another class action involving Bank of America where they sold private information or something and I sent in a massive 3-page very strongly worded objection letter which of course fell on deaf ears. What do I expect? The lawyers get paid whether they settle or not.
