BA or BFA for adults over 30 years old

It shouldn’t be a problem – places like Juilliard tend to favor older students with more experience under their belts, and there are some older students in my D’s BFA program at CalArts. You might also consider a straight acting school in NYC or Chicago so that you can audition and attend classes at the same time. This would allow you to see if this is truly something you want without committing to a full on BFA program. You say you have minimal film/theatre background – you might also consider finishing your BA at a school with a strong theatre component and then getting an MFA at a conservatory.
