<p>I don’t think gibby was making any comment on how a BA affects acting jobs, but more saying that someone with a BA, who would presumably have taken more elective classes, and possibly even pursued a second major or different minor(s), would have more luck with finding a second job than someone with a BFA. Please correct me if I’m wrong.</p>
<p>For me, I plan on getting a BA in theatre, and then minor in musical theatre and film, because I’m 95% sure I will be doing something involving film, tv, or theater, and those are things that really interest me and will prepare me for a career as an actor or someone behind-the-scenes, so to speak (for example, I enjoy doing art department work). I don’t knock the BFA at all, but it wasn’t the degree for me, since there’s just so much that I want to study.</p>
