I am a freshman at San Jose State University. I originally wanted to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre but my school does not offer that degree. My school offers a BA in Theatre and a minor in Musical Theatre or a Special-Major in Musical Theatre. I am not sure which degree plan to pursue. I plan to get my masters after I finish my undergrad, either a MFA/MM Musical Theatre or MFA Acting. The special-major is slightly more well rounded then the BA+minor. The issue is I miss out on classes like Voice and Diction and classes in Tech.
Thanks for reading!

When you say the special-major is slightly more well rounded, in what respect do you mean? Are you talking in terms of education in general as in you take a more well-rounded curricula in general education with classes in MT, or that you take more MT classes than w/ the minor option??
