Bachelor's Degree

After one graduates with a 4yr degree and earns their bachelors in say english, history, political science, etc does one usually go straight to law school or does one find a job and work for a while before going to law school. In addition, with only a bachelor’s degree in a typically low paying major, how does one pay for law school?

it’s possible to go to law school straight from college or to take some time off. I know 20-year-old 1Ls and law students in their 50s who are changing careers. The average age at most law schools is mid to late 20s.

As for paying for law school, nearly everyone takes out piles of student loans. 3 years of school plus living expenses can easily come to over $100,000 so it would be hard for anyone (unless they were pretty well-paid or had very generous relatives or something) to just have the cash on hand.
