Hello All! I am new here, and I have a couple questions I was hoping someone could help me answer and figure out.

I am a new transfer student majoring in Psychology, minoring in Applied Behavior Analysis. My plan is to attain my bachelor’s in Psych, and then go on to get my Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. I understand that it can be very competitive and challenging to get into the ABA program. I also understand that having a bachelors in Psychology without furthering my education will take me absolutely no where. (possibly not even finding work)

So my question is: does anyone have any recommendations regarding how I can go about preparing myself for the very real possibility that I might not get accepted into the ABA program? Should I take some business courses now, along with my psych requirements, so that as a last resort I can get at least an MBA and actually find work after college?

I don’t know if that’s confusing or not. I’m just basically trying to establish a plan B by maybe taking other types of courses. Is it true that an MBA is not as competitive, and therefore easier to get into? I’ve heard that, which is why I even suggest that as a back up plan.

Thoughts??
