Bad Finance Grades

I have a C and a B- in finance classes as a finance major. I changed my major to management and got all A’s. Should I take a higher-level Statistics class and get a good grade to compensate for those bad grades for selective graduate admission?

Not sure how even an excellent stat grade would “make-up” for a lower than desired grade in finance – they are different subjects. IMO all you can do at this point is move forward and do your best in classes that make sense for your major and desired career.

Are you currently a college student…because this is in the “applying to college” area.

ETA…thank you to whomever moved this to the correct forum.

Graduate admissions in what field?

You don’t just ‘get’ good grades. They are earned.

If you’re getting a graduate business degree, your schooling will be offset by the quality of your work experience.

Most credible grad schools require at least two years of work experience prior to admission.
