Bad grade replacement for UC

Hi so I just finished my freshmen year of high school and I did average,but I got a D in Honors geometry second semester, but am REPLACING the class online with an regular geometry course. Will the replacing class be factored in my freshmen year since it is used to help me move on to Algebra 2 my sophomore year. I know I messed up but I just replaced the class with an A and have a 3.9 weighted GPA I just hope this doesnt ruin my chances at a mid-tier UC

Your D from Honors Geometry will not be replaced by the regular Geometry on-line grade since they are not the same class. Good news is that UC’s do not use 9th grades in their UC GPA calculation and you have validated the D grade from your 2nd semester.
