<p>Hey guys, Civil Engineering major at CU Denver and Im sure im going to get a D in my bio class… how will this affect my chances of transferring to a bigger school (CU Boulder flagship school) current gpa as freshman like a 2.5</p>
<p>CU Boulder probably has published ranges of GPAs that are acceptable for a transfer student. The D will be an issue, but so will the 2.5 overall GPA.</p>
<p>To me a 2.5 GPA says you either don’t get it or more likely aren’t really trying. Either way, if I saw that GPA on a candidate for a job, I would not hire him. I would want someone who actually learned what he was supposed to be studying. You do need to pick it up a lot.</p>
