Alright, so I’m a junior psychology student.
I’ve done well in my classes, so far. With one exception.
Chemistry.
I have withdrawn from and retaken Chem. 113 and 121A/125 lab with a C in both (my worst grade thus far)
Giving me three Ws so far.
Bad mistakes, but I din’t learn my lesson
This semester I registered for Chem 121B/125B and vowed to do my best and getan A.
Then some things happened beyond my control (mum got in a serious wreck, was forced to move ect). Almost half way through the semester I am failing, badly, and I worry if I don’t drop I will have to accept an F.
Chemistry is not needed for my major, however I thought that an understanding of the natural sciences would compliment my psychology background.
I do not plan to take another chemistry class.
I plan to go on to graduate school in psychology.
I also have a learning disability in math, and so catching may be especially difficult for me.
Will another W be a major red flag on my graduate application?
Would it be better to risk an F and retake the class?

Run, do not walk, to your advisor’s office. Clearly you have some serious issue with Chemistry. You may need to withdraw again. If so, plan to take Chemistry during a summer term when it can be your only class. And, plan to find a tutor who can help you understand the material better.
