Bad impression at my re-visit day

I think I left a bad impression on some kids at the re-visit of the school that I’m going to!! I was really tired and not thinking straight so I was acting really weird and awkward. (I’m not usually like that) How much will this affect me when school starts in September? Will I still be able to change what they think of me?

I wouldn’t spend too much time worrying about it @revellodream. Revisit days can be tiring and stressful for kids and families. I don’t think it’s unusual to be nervous and / or exhausted by the process. Other kids may have also felt like they acted awkwardly or out of sorts on revisits. There’s a 5 month time gap between your revisit day and the start of school. It’s unlikely that you left such a negative impression that another student would recall it and be influenced by it in September. When you start school, just be yourself and put your best foot forward and you’ll be fine B-)

They won’t remember which kid you were.

Don’t sweat it.

The above are most likely correct… other people notice you and remember you much less than you would think.
I’ll add that you can usually correct a negative (or completely wrong) impression someone has of you.
I can think of scores of examples of people who had a horrible impression of someone, and either realized they were wrong, or the person changed for the better.
High school is also a time where people grow and change quite a bit… and most people recognize that kids can mature or outgrow bad habits or awkwardness.
What I will say is… if you hope for people to be forgiving and understanding… offer that same courtesy to your peers.
Many kids will come in awkward or scared or with a chip on their shoulder… They might be anxious or immature… but recognize that all of them will grow…
perhaps you can be accepting and kind and help them grow.
Good luck!
