I just received my exam scores for midterms and here it is as follows: B, B+, A-. These are for NON-quantitative/science courses, but they require HEAVY amounts of reading. I feel that this is an OK way to start off college. I was hoping to get an A- on all of them because I studied hard, but I’m pretty content with these grades, considering the amount of work that goes on out of school. I’ve been doing good on my quizzes, though.

I know I don’t want to sound like one of those people who freaks out over “good” grades, but I was just wondering if this is a good way to start out? I’m so stressed out with the workload, but I’m pulling through. I’m definitely planning on getting As for my finals…

Horribly, my midterms were like getting punched in the face by a dude you thought looked scrawny but actually packs a powerful punch and now you’re in the hospital nursing your broken nose and black eye, your girlfriend having broken up with you for the guy who punched you, and also your cat ran away.

All of my midterms went pretty well. I got an A+ on both my Methods of Instrumental Analysis and Energy and Humanity midterms, an A on my Polymer Physics midterm, and a B+ that will possibly become an A- because I asked about a point I missed where he couldn’t tell what I lost it for on my Linear Algebra midterm. But this was all a couple of weeks ago and the next wave of tests starts in two weeks!

Last year I generally went like this. Good for the first exam, got lazy and didn’t do as well for the second, then had to buckle down for the final.
