My common app personal statement is about how I faced having to break off a friendship and how from that I grew emotionally and personally through the metaphor of a huge, conflicting musical duet I did with the same person.
This is answering the prompt: Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others.
I don’t think any prompt is bad, but it seems like most everyone has essays that are more distinctly related to their identity and who they are as a person while mine is more about a single event?
Have you had someone who helps with essays on this forum give you feed back?

It sounds creative and especially unique, but not without risks. This description, alone, is not enough for someone to guide you on whether it works. Are you a theater-type, because it gets more interesting for me if you are - and the essay avoids direct negativity.
