Has anyone had a bad/weird experience with a proctor?
Or a room that was distracting (too hot or cold or loud).
I heard of one room where the temperature was over 100 degrees.

During one of my SAT IIs, the proctor started tapping her fingers on her timer with a few minutes to go and didn’t stop until the test was over. I had a terrible time concentrating (especially with all the pressure of the last few minutes) but fortunately I still got an 800.

And both times I’ve taken the SAT I the room has been pretty hot… the first time I was wearing long sleeves so this time I wore short sleeves, but I still had trouble concentrating with the heat.

My room was air-conditioned :)

in december, my SAT proctor kept talking to the other proctor during the reading section. She also kept the window open in 20 degrees temp…

in may, our desks were smaller than the size of a looseleaf paper.
