Bad SAT results - worth taking a chance with ACT in two weeks?

Hi Everyone. Need to pick your brain. My SAT score came out much lower that expected - 1960 (CR 620, Math 730, Writing 620 - Multiple choice 58, essay 9). Took C2 classes and 5-6 practice tests with the scores 2040-2123. The ACT test is on June 14th, but based on the two practice tests that I’ve taken, I was kind of struggling with the format and am only 1/4 through the ACT preparation book. Would you suggest to still go ahead and take a chance on ACT in two weeks knowing that scores won’t be too high or keep studying hard for the next SAT test in the Fall?

If you want ivies you need some prep to do well on the ACT, since you said you’re not comfortable with its format.
would I cram and keep working on it for the test in 2 weeks?
Personally, I wouldn’t.

Study for the sat and learn how to get your scores above 2000 mark.

In my opinion, your scores are fine the way they are, unless you want those top top schools.

Keeps working on the test and prepare for October SAT. You can get 2100+ studying properly. Very properly.

If you have the time to wait, I would make sure you’re ready for you next test (either SAT or ACT) and not rush into it.
