Bad SATs for Ivy League

<p>I applied early decision for the University of Pennsylvania recently. I have a 4.0 GPA and all honors courses. Incredible extracurriculars, president of leadership team at school, years of volunteer work, and incredible recommendations. In addition, I also just had my interview and they made it very clear that I was a great fit for Penn. I am also native american. However I am a HORRIBLE test taker, I got an 1820 on my SAT for only taking it one time senior year because I was in the hospital for junior year. I also got really nervous during Subject tests and got 570 on math and chemistry. I never took AP Chem and took chem 3 years ago. I have heard that they will be well-rounded with an application, but do I have any chance at all? or for any ivy? :,(</p>

<p>You have 1/2 a chance as a URM. But, guess what, you’ll have to consistently take difficult tests at Penn. If you are such a "horrible test taker, why put that pressure on yourself at such a challenging university?</p>
