bad senior grades

Did I completely destroy/eradicate/eliminate my chances for a private? I applied to Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon, Brown, Cornell, and UPenn.

I’m panicking because I did really bad for first semester senior grades. Overall, I’m an above average student with a 4.36 gpa, top 2% in my school, with some extracurriculars. But then for my senior year I decided to join Academic Decathlon(for fun, I know bad idea!) along with 4 AP classes. Let’s just say, I bit off more then I could chew, and as a result I paid with some consequences. Academic Decathlon consumed (still does) so much time that I get out of school at 6pm (yes, while I know some people can handle this, I realized that I couldn’t. One more week and it’ll be over, but I’ll be getting out at 8pm as competition gets nearer) I couldn’t get enough sleep (less than 5 hours a day), so I was really exhausted.

Now I really regret not drinking Monster or coffee to keep myself awake to study! I’m really worried because I got a A in Calculus AB and a 5 on the AP last year (but they don’t know that) and my math scores are 700+ . I’m scared that they might think that I’m lazy and that I had senioritis or something. :frowning: What do you think?
