I’m a rising junior.

Our (math + science) school has a 7-period system, with a mandated “internship” class.

In addition, our school’s hardest sciences for junior year (Physics C Mech+E/M and Chem) are two periods. Just taking Phys C: Mech is one period.

Our schedule looks something like this:

Math (1 period)
Science (1/2 periods)
Humanities Lang + apush + apgov
Internship (1 period)
Elective(s) (1/2 periods)

That means that leaves us with one elective space - our foreign language, if we take the most rigorous science.

Should I take Physics E/M + Mech my junior year just to have the most rigorous course possible (p.s., I’m not good @ physics [kind of dislike it], but i HAVE taken calc), or should I just take Phys C so I can take both my foreign language plus another elective (is this case, computer music).

My plan for my internship was to make an EP (mini-album) with my comp. music class (so I could do something I enjoy AND possibly put it on my future apps?), but if I take the MOST rigorous courses, I won’t be able to do that.

Thoughts, Suggestions, Comments, Questions?

Thanks!
