<p>I have to take a $21800 loan because I got only $7500 from fafsa and my parents are currently about to buy a house so they can’t put another loan on them. </p>
<p>So I was wondering if any of you in similar situation had success with private loans from banks? </p>

<p>You will probably need a cosigner to take out a private loan. If your parents are in the process of getting a home mortgage they may not be able to do this.
Were you accepted anywhere you can afford? Can your parents contribute to your education at all?</p>
