I have to make a decision in a couple of days and I’m somehow still torn over this. I’d like to hear some experiences and pros and cons about the two universities. Help is much needed. Thank you in advance.
Is the cost the same for you?
The money is not the problem. I’m more concerned with the vibe of each university and atmosphere and which UNI is OVERALL a better one 
My daughter was accepted to both & chose Barnard. She is now attending grad school at NYU. She is very glad she chose Barnard for undergrad & feels that she got a much better education there than she would have at NYU. As a grad student, she find the bureaucracy at NYU very frustrating to deal with for issues such as problems with course registration.
Anyway, if you have specific questions, I’m happy to answer – of course as a parent I’m only relying on what my kid tells me. Of course a lot depends on your academic interests and what you are looking for in a college.
