Check at both schools about the depth of their pre-Health advising.
The respective offices should be able to give you statistics on percentages of successful medical school acceptances,
as well as the type of advising and preparation that they provide.
Aside from the academic fit considerations listed above, to me it’s a question of whether you’d stay close to home in LA, or venture 3,000 miles to a new destination.
Either school will prepare you well for medical school. They both are well-regarded liberal arts colleges which will provide you with the courses, advising and experience you need. They are, however, otherwise very different in several respects. So I would focus on where you want to be for the next four years and what kind of general college experience you are looking for.
