Has the portal updated yet for any 2nd wave people?

Not for us! Please let me know if anyone who got the call Wednesday has seen their portal update! Thanks

My D’s portal has not been updated yet. She was in 2nd wave and got the call on Wednesday.

I got the email and still no call. Does anyone know why that could be ? (Im international and requested they contact me through zoom)

My D just got the portal update!! Good luck to all!!

What’s the due date? My D sent me screenshot of the letter but it’s still May 1.

Got the call! Best of luck to everyone

They said it could take a few days and if u don’t get to just email them

It was next week, I think. Please check her portal. It gives you a specific date.

Me too! I’m super excited, I hope to see some of you next year!

i was in 2nd wave and got an update to my portal today around 4pm est. if you did not apply for financial aid, they won’t tell you the cost on the letter.

for those admitted off the waitlist and got the update to the portal, does it still say respond by may 1st for you all on the letter? mine says may 1st and i’m not sure when the real date for us to commit by is.

Has anyone international from Canada received the urgent email?

My regional officer told me its 3 days on the call. But please make sure and let us know

you’re right, it says 3 days to commit and pay the deposit

One more time I’ll ask–has anyone or does anyone know of someone who has gotten off the WL seeking financial aid? I am putting down a deposit at another school today (which I am happy with) but part of me is always going to wonder about Barnard. I’m wondering if it’s even worth it to continue considering the waitlist at the back of my mind or just fully move on.

Based on the forum, I have only seen full pay student get off, but, in previous years, there’s been financial-aid seeking students get off in much later wave. I’m in the same position as you as I am a FGLI student and have commuted somewhere else. However, Barnard will always be my dream school and I have considered trying to transfer into Barnard. For now, still be optimistic and wait it out because you never know!

ok this is somewhat good to hear! Do you remember around how late those aid-seeking students started to be taken off? Like late May or June? I am also trying to move on but just out of curiosity if we’re getting close to that time.

Theres this tiktoker, @danaeexclusive, who gotten off the waitlist with a full-ride on May 17 of last year. Hopefully that’s the same case this year!
