<p>My parents signed me up for rooms that are probably going to be in Barnhart. They’re the really nice rooms. Is it that troublesome to walk all the way to Barnhart, but have the nice room; or should I go for a less spacious room?
And do people use a bike if they live in Barnhart?</p>
<p>I think a lot of scholarship athletes live in Barnhart as well as older students.</p>
<p>I think it is better for Freshmen to live right on campus in their first year and with other first year students. Sometimes in the cold and rain that extra distance can make it easier to not go to class!</p>
<p>Barnhard dorms are nice because they are so huge- all come with private bathrooms and walk-in-closets. The downside is that there is definitely less of a “community” feeling for some reason. If you play sports you are guaranteed a Barnhart room with other members of your team. As far as walking, it’s a 10 minute walk and there are always buses and bikes :)</p>
