<p>does this book teach you the basic JAVA things? (i have no programming background and don’t know anything about JAVA.)</p>

<p>I mean, does this book teach you how you write code, like, where should i put a period, and where an “;”, and where should i put a space, and what does a “{” mean?</p>

<p>Um, I don’t think the barron’s book covers things that are that simple. But it’s always easy to look up a tutorial online.</p>

<p>The Barron’s book is INCREDIBLE. It’s very comprehensive, and for a weak programmer, it’s perfect. It goes into detail on every topic in the subset very in-depth and well. I really love it. :)</p>
