Barrons for AP Bio?

How is it?

Great. And what it doesn’t cover fully, PR does. If you splurge and get both you’ll be totally prepared.

I used it for the 2010 exam and felt pretty good during the test; alot of people on this site will advise you to use Cliff’s instead though. Your pick.

I think it has too much information (or so they say).

Everybody says it has way too much information. Whether it does or not, I don’t know… but Barron’s is generally known for being highly-detailed in their review books.

It depends on what you want the review book for. If it’s to learn, you want detailed (i.e. Barron’s). If it’s to REVIEW for the exam, then you want clear, concise, to-the-point, and Cliff’s is perfect.

I thought it was very good. I slacked off during the year and used it during a frantic 48-hour period the weekend before the test. We’ll see how the score worked out…

I thought the practice free response questions did a good job of reviewing the important material.
