Barrons SAT 2009.

Hey guys, I bought a Barrons SAT 2009 to prepare for my upcoming, and final SAT I test (hopefully it’ll be my last one). I noticed that although my critical reading scores are higher than what I got on the real SAT last year, my other scores are dramatically lower. Most of all, my math score dropped the most…Is the Barrons book supposed to be this hard, and should I be worried?

About a 50 point decrease is to be expected per subject if you’re using Barron’s. More than that, you have a problem.

Actually, I’d expect a 100-300 point decrease…
I’ve never heard of scores ending in 50, unless it was in the 500 to 600 range. o_o

You expect a 300 point decrease? Weird, I just went down about 30 points in Math, 80 points in CR, and 40 points in WR. :p

Weird, I actually went up nearly 70 points in CR, and decreased about 70-80 in the other 2.

Barrons is not awesome, it’s too unrealistic. If the scores on the fake tests aren’t even close to the scores on the real tests than doesn’t that tell you there’s probably something wrong.
